Duties
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise entry
- Provide detailed menu recommendations, upselling specials and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties, while managing open/close procedures with basic math skills
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling, cleaning protocols, and sanitation practices
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas promptly, and supporting host/host duties as needed to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and billing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations professionally
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and order calculations
- Previous experience in serving, bussing, or host/host roles is preferred but not required
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as part of a dynamic team
