Assist with all functions of the simulation laboratory in Poplar Bluff.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assist in cleaning and maintaining all laboratory equipment.
- Report all broken or malfunctional equipment and supplies to the Simulation Coordinator.
- Maintain the Nursing Skills and Simulation Laboratories (Poplar Bluff and Sikeston) in good working condition.
- Assist with inventory of laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Run the high-fidelity simulation experiences providing feedback to students on their performance in debriefing.
- Maintain records detailing simulation experiences for students.
- Provide faculty with overall report of students’ strengths and weaknesses identified in the Simulation Laboratory.
- Assist faculty with Nursing Skills Laboratory checkoffs.
- Maintain professional development activities regarding simulation with the faculty.
- Assist faculty with laboratory set-up and breakdown.
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Associate degree in nursing required; bachelor’s degree preferred. A minimum of two years’ clinical experience required. Medical Surgical nursing background preferred. Salary range is $30.00 per hour. Not to exceed 19.5 hours per week.
