- Location: Cleveland, OH — primarily remote, but in-person collaboration, filming, and client meetings are required
- Hours: Minimum 15 hours per week (with potential for additional work as reliability and performance are proven)
- Compensation: Flat monthly rate, based on experience (anticipated range $1,200–$1,500+/month)
- Schedule: Work is typically completed Monday through Friday, with flexibility based on workload, filming days, etc
- Agreement: Independent contractor (1099) position. Must sign a short agreement outlining expectations, confidentiality, and limited conflict-of-interest terms.
About Us
Lauren in the Land LLC is a Cleveland-based creative business specializing in social media management, content creation, and light brand development for professionals, small businesses, brands, and public figures across the United States.
We’re looking for an experienced, organized, and creative assistant to support a blend of social media and administrative tasks. This role begins at approximately 15 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow as consistency, reliability, and performance are established.
Please do not apply if you do not have prior experience in graphic or video content creation. We’re seeking someone who can contribute right away - even if they’re still early in their career.
What You’ll Do
Social Media & Content Tasks
- Assist with content creation, planning, and scheduling for multiple clients across the U.S.
- Research and identify current social media and design trends
- Create on-brand graphics in Canva and edit short-form videos in CapCut
- Film content for clients and Lauren in the Land (must understand lighting, framing, and composition)
- Write engaging captions with SEO awareness and handle posting/scheduling
- Be on camera regularly for LITL social media account
- Engage with followers and assist with community management
- Use tools like ChatGPT for caption writing and content ideation (a plus)
Administrative Tasks
- Send client invoices and track payments
- Manage emails and scheduling
- Coordinate filming days, meetings, and project timelines
- Maintain Google Drive folders, content calendars, and workflow documents
- Support day-to-day administrative operations as needed
Requirements
- Based in Cleveland, OH, with ability to attend in-person filming, collaboration sessions, and client meetings as needed
- Proven experience with Canva, CapCut, Instagram, and TikTok (YouTube and Threads are a plus)
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Comfortable filming, appearing on camera, and interacting with clients
- Experienced in social media management, content creation, and light administrative support
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with excellent time management
- Must sign an independent contractor agreement outlining confidentiality, expectations, and conflict-of-interest terms
