Home for Good Dog Rescue is seeking a Part-time Social Media Coordinator to join our team in Aiken, SC. As a non-profit organization, we are dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating dogs in need, and finding them loving homes. The Social Media Coordinator will play a key role in increasing our visibility and impact through strategic social media marketing. MUST LOVE DOGS.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a social media marketing plan to increase engagement, followers, and donations
• Manage all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
• Create and publish content, including graphics, photos, and videos, that aligns with the organization's mission and values
• Write creative bios for adoptable animals to increase outreach and aid in their adoption
• Take good-quality photos of adoptable dogs to increase outreach
• Collaborate with other staff members to develop and execute marketing strategies
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the organization is utilizing social media to its full potential

Requirements:

• Experience in Marketing, Communications, Photography or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Google Drive, etc.
• A passion for animal welfare and rescue
• Must love dogs!

This is a part-time position with flexible hours. The Social Media Coordinator will work closely with the communications teams to promote Home for Good Dog Rescue's mission and values through social media.
