PART-TIME SPA ATTENDANT
Day Spa – Austin, TX

We are hiring a dependable, hard-working Spa Attendant to join our team! This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone interested in gaining experience in the spa and wellness industry.

Schedule (NOT FLEXIBLE)

• Saturdays & Sundays: 11:30 AM – 7:30 PM
• Thursday evenings: 4-hour cleaning shift
• Approximately 20 hours per week

Attendance and reliability are extremely important for this position.

Starting Pay

• $12-$15/hour

Job Responsibilities

This is a physically active position that requires constant movement throughout the spa. Duties include:

• Cleaning bathrooms, showers
• Sweeping and mopping
• Vacuuming and dusting
• Cleaning windows and common areas
• Laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens
• Taking out trash
• Completing spa rounds to collect used linens
• Restocking teas, water, supplies, bottles, and amenities
• Maintaining overall cleanliness and organization of the spa

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to stay busy and move quickly throughout shifts
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Comfortable squatting, bending, light lifting, and physical activity
• Professional appearance and positive attitude

Ideal Candidate

This position is ideal for:

• A responsible high school senior, college student, or young adult
• Someone wanting experience in the hotel, housekeeping, spa, beauty, or wellness field and wants access to education and applicable mentorship
• A person who enjoys cleaning, organizing, and staying active during work

Age Requirements

Per Texas labor guidelines:

• Applicants under 18 may apply if legally eligible to work in Texas
• Weekend and evening hours generally work well with Texas youth employment rules
• Must meet all state and federal employment requirements
