Part time Spanish Teacher (Training and Lessons Plans provided!)

Get back into the classroom and make a difference by teaching Spanish with Fun Fluency!

We are currently seeking a part-time Spanish teacher for a K–8 position at a private school in the Chicago area. The role includes teaching Spanish during the school day, with two instructional hours Monday through Thursday and a full school day on Fridays.

The ideal candidate will provide engaging, dynamic Spanish lessons to students eager to learn and build strong language skills. In addition to the school-day schedule, there may be opportunities to teach after-school Spanish classes at local public schools.

Teacher Qualifications

• We are seeking experienced, creative, organized, high-energy people who have a heart to teach Spanish.
• Must be comfortable using our multi-sensory methods which combine movement, games, play, songs, rhythms, and storytelling
• Previous teaching experience is required, (no Illinois License is required)
• Our ideal teacher has classroom teaching experience either in their home country or the U.S.
• Must be reliable and organized
• High energy; relates well with kids
• Quick learner
• Fluent Spanish speaker with strong English skills
• Experience using computers and technology
• Must be able to drive or take reliable transportation to a school in Chicago or the surrounding areas (we aim to place you within 30 minutes of your school).
