Special Needs Tutor needed for In-Home / In-Person tutoring to facilitate tutoring for Elementary school / Middle School / High School students.

Seeking experienced Tutors/Teachers for all grades and subjects

• Teaching or Tutoring Experience

Requirements:

- Must possess at least a bachelors.

- Special Education Certification is Required.

- Valid Illinois Teaching Certificate or Substitute License.

· Reliable transportation, must live close to Elmhurst, Lombard

· Afternoons, Evenings are required. Weekends are optional.

· Access to the internet, computer, and cell phone

· Minimum one year teaching and tutoring experience

Responsibilities:

· Effectively and comprehensively deliver subject matter tutoring

· Facilitate tutoring sessions for the prescribed subjects at the agreed time and location

· Review homework as necessary

· Work with the students to close any learning gaps or enhance understanding in subject areas

· Provide additional practice work to ensure a thorough understanding of topic/s covered

· With parent's permission, communicate with students' teacher if required

· Submit a session report for our office and families after each tutoring session within 24 hours of said session

· Assist student with executive, organizational, and study skills to improve their time management and project management capabilities
