Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in patients of various ages, with a focus on providing high-quality care and support to enhance communication abilities. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, educators, and families to develop individualized treatment plans that promote effective communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Provide speech therapy services to individuals, including children in school settings and patients requiring early intervention.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to inform treatment approaches.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about speech and language disorders and effective communication strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech production.
- Experience in early intervention techniques is preferred.
- Familiarity with pediatric speech therapy practices is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology.
- Excellent patient assessment skills with a focus on individualized care.
- Ability to work effectively in both clinical and school environments.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Pay: $39.21 - $47.22 per hour
