Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Generalist to support our growing home care operations across Illinois and Indiana. This role will serve as a key partner to leadership, with primary responsibility for full-cycle recruitment, while also supporting core HR functions including benefits administration, payroll coordination, employee relations, and HR compliance.

Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & Workforce Planning-
Lead full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding

Partner with leadership on staffing needs and hiring strategies

Manage and optimize the applicant tracking system (ATS)

Deliver a positive candidate experience
HR Operations & Administration-
Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS systems

Generate reports and support HR analytics

Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes
Benefits Administration-
Administer benefits programs, including enrollments and changes

Serve as primary contact for employee benefits inquiries

Support open enrollment and vendor coordination
Payroll Support-
Assist with payroll processing and data accuracy

Track employee hours, wage changes, and deductions

Support payroll audits and compliance
HR Compliance & Employee Relations-
Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations

Support policy implementation and employee communications

Assist with employee relations matters and documentation

Maintain compliant and up-to-date employee records
Qualifications-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)

3+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a healthcare or home health setting

Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and talent acquisition strategies

Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Paycor, ADP Workforce Now, or similar systems)

Working knowledge of payroll processes and benefits administration

Solid understanding of employment laws and HR compliance requirements

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
