Part-Time Student Transportation Driver (Weekdays Only)

This is not a typical gig role—you’ll follow a dedicated route each day, allowing you to build trust with the students and families you serve.

What to Expect

• Routes typically last 0-30 minutes
• Per-route pay structure, with additional compensation for trips exceeding 16 miles
• At least 2 routes per day guaranteed, with the chance to take on more
• Weekday-only schedule (morning and afternoon routes, no evenings or weekends)

What You’ll Do

• Provide safe, timely transportation for students to and from school
• Create a positive and reassuring experience during each ride
• Offer assistance to students when needed to ensure comfort and safety
• Commit to your assigned routes and maintain reliable attendance
• Use a user-friendly mobile app to manage trips and stay connected with support staff and families

What You’ll Need

• Must be at least 21 years old
• A valid California driver’s license and a strong driving record
• A well-maintained 4-door vehicle (model year 2011 or newer)

You must also be able to complete:

• Background check
• Drug screening
• DOT medical exam
• Live Scan fingerprinting
• TB test
• Vehicle inspection
• Proctored English Proficiency Assessment
