Part-Time Teacher / Classroom Closer

About Us: Tiny Sprouts Playhouse is a warm, engaging, and fast-paced childcare center dedicated to providing a safe and fun environment for our children. We are currently looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Teacher / Classroom Closer to join our amazing team!

About the Role: As a Classroom Closer, you will play a vital role in wrapping up our daily operations. You will be responsible for maintaining a positive environment for the children during the late afternoon, assisting parents during pick-up, and ensuring the classrooms are clean, organized, and fully prepped for the following day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage with children in afternoon activities and free play.
• Greet parents warmly and communicate effectively during afternoon pick-ups.
• Perform daily closing duties, including cleaning, sanitizing toys, and organizing classroom materials.
• Reset the classroom to ensure it is welcoming and ready for the next morning.
• Assist the Director and other staff members as needed to close the center smoothly.

Requirements:

• Education: At least a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience in a daycare is a plus, but not required. First-timers are absolutely welcome!
• Training: Must be willing to undergo training and complete necessary certifications.
• Attributes: A positive, patient, and energetic attitude, along with strong reliability and punctuality.
