Part-time Teacher (Closing Position)

We are seeking a caring, patient, and enthusiastic part time teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide a nurturing environment for children, support their social and cognitive development, and ensure a safe and engaging space for play and learning. This position requires

• Supervise and ensure the safety and well being of children at all times
• Plan and implement age appropriate activities
• Support children’s emotional and social development through positive guidance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom
• Communicate with parents about daily activities and child progress
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support overall classroom goals
• Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, and other daily routines

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and engage in physical activity with children

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per year
