Part Time Teacher for Preschoolers

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and ensuring the overall well-being of each child.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards.
• Create lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and physical education activities.
• Foster a positive learning environment through effective classroom management techniques.
• Provide individualized support for children with special needs or behavioral challenges through early intervention strategies.
• Engage in daily activities that promote childhood development, including play-based learning and hands-on experiences.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
• Conduct assessments to monitor student growth and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational program and share best practices.
• Ensure compliance with child welfare regulations and maintain a safe classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
• Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to preschool-aged children.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
• Experience in standardized testing and tutoring is a plus.
