Part-Time Teller

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Part-time Teller to join our team. In this key role, you will provide exceptional customer service while supporting a variety of daily operational tasks. Primary responsibilities include assisting members with their financial transactions, such as receiving and disbursing cash and handling other negotiable instruments.

Duties

• Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, sells cashiers checks to members, transfer amounts from member accounts as directed.
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Process transactions accurately, including handling debits and credits.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage pricing, discounts, and sales effectively.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.

Skills

• Strong math skills, particularly in retail math for transaction accuracy.
• Proven ability to upsell products or services effectively.
• Excellent sales skills with a focus on member satisfaction.
• Familiarity with debits, credits, and basic accounting principles.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• One to three years similar or related experience.
• Bilingual required.
• Ten key calculator and computer skyboard by touch.
• Detail oriented to deal with numbers and names.
• Interpersonal skills.
