Position Overview

As a Teller, you will:

  • Provide outstanding customer service in person and over the phone.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding online banking, mobile banking, and debit cards.
  • Handle teller operations, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
  • Assist with ATM balancing, currency orders, and shipments.
  • Prepare CTRs and maintain familiarity with SARs.
  • Initiate wire transfers and process check orders and debit cards.
  • Act as safe deposit custodian and manage safe deposit box access.
  • Adhere to all bank policies and procedures to minimize risk.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Maintain compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

  • 2+ years banking related experience preferred
  • High School Graduate/GED
  • Excel/Word Processing
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills and good verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-task environment
  • Capable of reliable attendance
  • Aptitude for attention to detail and ability to identify and correct errors
  • Willing to attend continuing education related courses pertaining to job
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk, reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
