Part Time Teller

This is a permanent part time position. Our hours are between 7am -6pm Monday through Friday and 7am-12pm on Saturdays. The shifts will be 7am to 12pm or 12pm to 6pm and rotating Saturday shifts. The hours will be 15 to 25 hours a week. We need a person who is flexible and can work any shift.

Greet members, receive deposits, loan payments, handle disbursements and cross-sell credit union services. At all times, represent the credit union in a friendly and professional manner.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

Greet all members when approaching the teller line.

Answer the telephone when necessary.

Give general information regarding the credit union services or policies to those who inquire.

Process cash transactions, deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers and balance your drawer at the end of the day.

Be personally responsible for funds generated from initial deposits, deposits to share or share draft accounts, payments on loans and the sale of money orders, cashier checks, stamps, movie tickets and cash advances.

Perform account maintenance and account changes as needed.

Perform filing and scanning duties in the office as needed.

Take the necessary steps to assure the accuracy of member accounts and credit union records.

Maintain a basic knowledge of the other departments and be willing to perform functions and answer questions pertaining to those departments as necessary.

Perform other duties as required by the head teller or by management.
