Position Summary
The Marketing Specialist will assist in developing promotions and managing programs that support company stores and franchisees. This role begins as a part-time temporary position (20 hours/week for 3 months), with the expectation of transitioning to full-time permanent. This is a hybrid role, combining in-office collaboration with remote flexibility. The ideal candidate is highly organized, capable of multitasking, able to work independently, has some experience with corporate marketing, and enjoys collaborating with a team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support a variety of strategic marketing initiatives as directed by the Marketing Director.
- Compile and distribute weekly sales reports.
- Assist the Digital Marketing Manager in creating, executing, and scheduling digital marketing campaigns and social media content.
- Create, manage, and schedule content across social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Support the marketing team in creating, editing, and publishing website and intranet content, including ongoing updates.
- Provide customer support to franchisees and internal stakeholders for marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with the franchise development team to track and advance leads through the sales funnel.
- Manage the PMF Bucks program, reimbursing franchisees for building improvements and marketing initiatives.
- Support planning and logistics for company events, including coordination, materials preparation, vendor communication, and on-site assistance as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or a related field required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent formal training.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
- Graphic design experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite required.
- Experience with digital campaign execution and scheduling, social media management (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram), website content management, and customer support.
- Strong multitasking skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Drive and stamina to manage and lead projects with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with partners at all levels, including senior management.
- Resourcefulness to gather information and complete projects even when obstacles arise.
