About the Position
We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and respectful non-medical caregiver to provide in-home support for a client who lives independently. The client is easy to work with and needs assistance with daily living activities, personal care, meal preparation, mobility, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.

This is a temporary part-time position based on the client’s approved service hours. The client currently has 44 total approved hours, and the schedule will depend on how many hours the client chooses to use each day.

Schedule

• Flexible schedule
• Temporary assignment
• Client currently approved for 44 total hours of care
• Number of visits per day or week will depend on the client’s needs and preferences
• Schedule details will be discussed during the interview process

Responsibilities

• Help with light housekeeping
• Assist with washing, shampooing, bathing, showering, brushing teeth, and other personal grooming needs
• Help the client with putting on and taking off clothing and footwear
• Assist the client with getting on and off the toilet, commode, or bedpan, and help with cleaning if incontinent
• Obtain medication containers from the storage area for the client
• Remind the client when it is time to take medication as prescribed
• Observe the client self-administering medication
• Assist the client with getting to and from a bed or chair
• Help the client move safely from one area to another by removing obstacles, opening doors, and assisting with canes, wheelchairs, or other devices
• Assist with food preparation, meal reminders, and feeding support as needed
• Provide companionship and a supportive presence
• Follow care instructions and complete assigned tasks independently
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with the client and family
• Maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment
• Treat the client with dignity, patience, and compassion at all times

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Previous non-medical caregiving experience preferred, including personal care, home care, or related experience
• Reliable transportation required
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Comfortable working independently
• Kind, patient, and respectful demeanor

Position Details

• Part-time, temporary non-medical caregiving position
• Flexible scheduling based on client preference and approved hours
• No benefits for this part-time role
• Pay based on experience

Pay
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
