Part-Time Therapist – Residential Mental Health / Bahavioral Health Program

We are seeking compassionate, engaging, and clinically strong Associate Therapists (AMFT or ACSW, or APCC) to join our residential mental health treatment team in the Bel Air area of Los Angeles.

This is an excellent opportunity for therapists who enjoy meaningful client interaction, group facilitation, collaborative treatment environments, and working with adults in mental health recovery within a supportive residential setting.

Our residential treatment program supports adults experiencing depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, anxiety, trauma-related conditions, and other mental health challenges. We focus on stabilization, emotional support, life skills, therapeutic engagement, and long-term recovery.

IMPORTANT LOCATION REQUIREMENT - This is a fully in-person position located in the Bel Air / Los Angeles area (90049). Reliable ability to commute to the 90049 area is extremely important for this role.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging and clinically effective mental health process groups, psychoeducational groups, and therapeutic activities
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and clinical documentation
• Provide individual therapy sessions to assigned clients
• Assist with treatment planning and treatment plan reviews
• Collaborate with clinical, behavioral health, and residential support staff
• Maintain timely, accurate, and professional documentation
• Help create a safe, supportive, structured, and recovery-oriented environment for residents

Qualifications

• Active California Associate registration required:
• AMFT
• ACSW
• APCC
• Completed Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field
• Minimum of 300 clinical hours completed
• Experience working in mental health, behavioral health, residential treatment, or counseling settings preferred
• Strong group facilitation and interpersonal skills
• Experience with trauma-informed care, DBT, CBT, or crisis support is a plus
• Experience with DMH documentation preferred but not required
• Must be able to pass Live Scan fingerprint/background clearance
• Professional references required

Compensation & Schedule

• $35–$40 per hour depending on experience
• Flexible part-time scheduling
