Part-Time TikTok & Instagram Content Creator (Hair Braiding Salon)

About the Role
We are looking for a creative person who understands TikTok and Instagram trends to help grow our hair braiding salon’s online presence and bring in more customers.

The role is simple: come to the shop weekly, film braiding content, and turn it into short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram Reels.

Responsibilities

• Film short videos of braiding styles, transformations, and the salon environment
• Edit videos for TikTok/Instagram (quick cuts, captions, trending sounds)
• Post or prepare 5–10 short videos per week
• Show staff simple ways to record clips when you’re not there
• Suggest trending content ideas that attract younger customers

Ideal Candidate

• Active on TikTok and Instagram
• Understands viral/trending content
• Comfortable filming on a smartphone
• Creative and able to work independently
• Interest in beauty, hair, or fashion content is a plus

Work Schedule

• 1–2 visits per week
• 2–4 hours total per week
• Flexible schedule

Goal of the Role
Increase salon visibility online and bring in new customers through engaging social media content.
