Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Unarmed Security Guard to maintain a safe and secure environment across various client sites. In this role, you will monitor premises through surveillance, perform regular patrols, and respond promptly to incidents or disturbances. Your presence will help deter unauthorized access and ensure safety protocols are upheld at all times.

Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
• Observe and report any unusual or criminal activity using CCTV surveillance systems and on-site inspections
• Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, and contractors
• Respond swiftly to emergencies or incidents, providing first aid or CPR when necessary and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management skills to de-escalate issues effectively
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security reports accurately and promptly
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by monitoring for theft or vandalism and reporting concerns to management

Experience

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV is preferred
• Certifications in first aid, CPR, or conflict management are a plus
• Familiarity with security procedures, loss prevention strategies, and emergency response protocols is advantageous
• Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining a professional demeanor
