We are a growing personal injury and criminal defense law firm seeking a creative and dependable Part-Time Videographer & Content Creator to help produce engaging, professional video content for our social media platforms, website, digital advertising, and community outreach efforts.
The ideal candidate is comfortable filming and editing both short-form and long-form content, including attorney videos, educational legal content, client-focused campaigns, office footage, interviews, and community events. We are looking for someone who understands how to create content that is polished and professional while still feeling natural, engaging, and appropriate for social media.
Responsibilities
- Plan, film, and edit high-quality video content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, our website, and digital marketing campaigns
- Film attorneys and staff in the office and at community or firm-sponsored events
- Create short-form content such as Instagram Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts
- Assist with longer-form videos, interviews, testimonials, educational content, and promotional campaigns
- Set up and operate cameras, microphones, lighting, and other production equipment
- Edit footage, including captions, graphics, music, transitions, color correction, and audio adjustments
- Collaborate with attorneys and the marketing team to develop creative concepts and content ideas
- Help team members feel comfortable and confident on camera
- Resize and optimize videos for different social media platforms
- Organize and maintain video files and media libraries
- Stay current on video trends and recommend ideas that align with the firm’s professional image
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive legal or client-related information
Qualifications
- Previous experience in videography, video editing, content creation, or digital media
- A strong portfolio or demo reel demonstrating filming and editing abilities
- Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar editing software
- Knowledge of camera operation, lighting, audio recording, and video production
- Experience creating social media content, especially vertical short-form video
- Strong understanding of color correction, audio balancing, captions, file formatting, and platform optimization
- Creative, organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines
- Comfortable directing and working with attorneys and staff on camera
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Reliable transportation for local shoots and events
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating content for a law firm or other professional-services business
- Photography experience
- Motion graphics or animation experience
- Experience filming interviews, podcasts, testimonials, or community events
- Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus
- Access to professional camera, lighting, and audio equipment is a plus
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
