Part-Time Videographer/Social Media Manager/Content Creator

James Corwin is looking for a talented Videographer to join his studio, and gallery team and enrich our social media with daily posts.

A videographers responsibilities include filming and photographing the artist at work, developing content videos, daily posting on all social media platforms, video editing, generating ideas for new content types, engaging with our audience and building a network with followers.

If you’re familiar with producing online content, have great photography/video skills, are up-to-date on social media trends and have a passion for engaging with an online community, we would like to meet you!

The ideal candidate is someone who is creative and can bring forward content ideas each day that are inspired by what our audience is looking for, enjoying and trying new trends.

A typical day looks like coming to the studio with a shot list and plan for that day's content. Direct and coordinate to capture it all efficiently and edit into short reels, photo/story posts, and post to the accounts. Longer form instructional content will be captured and edited as well on a weekly basis.

Flexible schedule. Typically 4 hours per day. Could be 5 days a week or less. Or could grow into full-time depending on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Research industry-related trends to remain relevant
• Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
• Proofread and edit posts before publication
• Photograph and film daily.
• Creating schedules to deliver exciting content.
• Posting daily on ALL social media platforms.
• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
• Promote content on social media
• Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
• Update website content as needed
• Build an online community and engage with comments.
• Upload Youtube short and long-form videos.
• Film and edit instructional videos.
• Upload and post content daily.
• Help with arranging studio for filming.
• Network and set up collaborations with other influencers and brands.

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
• STRONG photography and video skills
• STRONG video editing skills using preferred software.
• STRONG ability to learn new technology and complex systems.
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• Knowledge on effective hashtag use to increase engagement.
• Creative ideas to create exciting content.
• Familiarity with social media platforms such as Youtube, Instagram, Tiktok and Facebook.
• Excellent communication skills and outgoing personality
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• No college degree required

Must have passport for international travel to join artist on his travels.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
