Part time Weekend Server

Chez Kama is looking for friendly, reliable waitstaff to join our front-of-house team on weekends. If you take pride in great service, work well in a fast-paced dining room, and enjoy being part of a team, we'd love to meet you.

Position Details

• Role: Part-time Server
• Schedule: Weekends (Thursday/Saturday/Sunday, all evening shifts as needed)
• Location: Chez Kama, Great Neck, NY
• Pay: Hourly + tips (based on experience)

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, describe menu items and specials, and provide attentive, welcoming service
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them promptly
• Deliver food and drinks, check in on tables, and resolve guest concerns professionally
• Maintain clean, organized table sections and support dining room setup/breakdown
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar to ensure timely, accurate service
• Process payments and follow all cash-handling procedures
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace policies

Qualifications

• Prior serving experience preferred (we will train the right candidate)
• Weekend availability and dependable attendance are required
• Strong communication and guest-service mindset
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to ~25 Ibs
• Comfortable working in a busy, team-oriented environment

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
