This is a production-focused role.
The primary responsibility is building and maintaining WordPress websites and producing high-quality creative assets using Adobe Creative Suite.
Marketing knowledge is helpful, but this is not a strategy role. You will execute clearly defined direction from the strategy team and leadership.
This role requires independence, precision, and strong time management. We do not micromanage.
Primary Responsibilities (Core of Role)
WordPress Development & Website Management (Primary Focus)
- Build and maintain WordPress websites in alignment with company standards
- Implement CSS and/or JavaScript modifications when required
- Update content, layouts, blog posts, and media
- Build and manage custom forms
- Support WooCommerce and basic eCommerce functionality
- Execute clearly defined SEO and on-page implementation instructions
- Maintain modern, clean design standards across all web properties
You must be comfortable working inside WordPress daily.
Creative Production & Design (Primary Focus)
- Create professional print materials (business cards, brochures, signage, banners, direct mail, vehicle graphics, etc.)
- Produce digital graphics and layout assets
- Edit and prepare files properly for print and production
- Maintain strict consistency with brand guidelines
- Work efficiently within Adobe Creative Suite:
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- InDesign
- Premiere Pro (basic editing preferred)
- After Effects (basic knowledge preferred)
Strong production discipline is required. Files must be organized and press-ready.
Secondary Responsibilities (Support Role)
Marketing Execution Support
- Build and schedule email campaigns within our designated platform
- Import and manage contact lists
- Assist with social content formatting and publishing
- Implement clearly defined marketing and SEO instructions
- Support Google Business updates and account maintenance
You will not be responsible for marketing strategy development.
Occasional Project Support
- Assist with photography or videography projects (preferred but not required)
- Travel locally to project sites or meetings (travel time compensated)
- Ensure proper handling and return of company equipment
Team & Accountability Expectations
- Attend one weekly virtual team meeting (up to 2 hours)
- Participate in occasional client meetings for support and note-taking
- Use project management software consistently
- Track time in real time with accurate work descriptions
- Stay within approved time allocations unless authorized
This role requires self-direction and professional responsibility.
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in WordPress
- Working knowledge of CSS and/or JavaScript
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to manage multiple projects without supervision
- High attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with AI tools (such as ChatGPT) and the ability to refine outputs responsibly
Preferred (Not Required)
- Agency experience
- Experience with Apple workflows
- Experience with Sony or Canon equipment
- Basic video editing experience
