About IMPACT Digital Marketing

IMPACT Digital Marketing is a results-driven agency that helps businesses grow through smart strategy, creative design, and data-backed digital campaigns. We partner with local and national brands to deliver high-performing websites and marketing systems that convert. We’re looking to bring on a part-time WordPress Developer who can support our team on an ongoing basis. This person will handle custom builds, plugin management, and integrations — especially with GoHighLevel (GHL) — while maintaining quality, accessibility, and reliability across all client sites.

Position Overview

This is a contract-based, part-time position with the potential for long-term partnership and consistent work. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and highly skilled in WordPress development — particularly when it comes to turning completed designs and content into beautiful, functional, and optimized websites. You’ll collaborate closely with our design and marketing teams, handle maintenance for existing client sites, and support our automation and CRM workflows through GHL integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Build and launch responsive, mobile-friendly WordPress websites (typically 10–15 pages) using provided content and assets.
  • Set up and manage WordPress hosting environments, themes, and plugins.
  • Implement SEO best practices, page speed optimization, and WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Integrate GoHighLevel (GHL) forms, funnels, and tracking pixels into websites.
  • Perform ongoing maintenance (plugin updates, backups, small edits, troubleshooting).
  • Communicate and collaborate through Monday.com to stay aligned on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Join occasional client calls when needed for project updates or technical input.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience building and managing WordPress websites.
  • Strong proficiency with PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (or advanced page builders like Elementor or Divi).
  • Experience integrating GoHighLevel forms, tracking, and automations with WordPress.
  • Familiarity with WCAG accessibility and responsive design best practices.
  • Understanding of SEO structure, schema, and website performance optimization.
  • Reliable communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with WooCommerce and Shopify.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with custom post types, ACF, and advanced plugin setups.
  • Knowledge of server management (cPanel, Cloudways, WP Engine, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CRM workflows and automations within GoHighLevel.
  • Comfortable using Monday.com for project tracking and updates.

Hours & Compensation

  • Part-time, project-based role with potential for steady, ongoing work.
  • Flexible hours; most communication occurs during standard business hours (EST).
  • Compensation based on experience and project scope.
