Part-Time WordPress Website Designer

Make Waves Design LLC is a fast growing web development and digital marketing agency located in Stockton, CA.

We are looking for a competent front end designer who is well-versed in WordPress and Elementor. An eye for design is IMPERATIVE and the ability to be able to take a website from start to finish if needed. Hours will increase after training.

You can multi-task and jump from one task to another quickly and without issue. You have a professional desire to deliver quality designs and website updates, at times under tight deadlines, with minimal hand-holding.

We’re building websites for any industry that connect with people and generate business results and we’re looking for someone who understands buyer behavior, user experience, inbound methodology (attract visitors, convert leads, nurture and close).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Build and launch websites and landing pages
• Debug and troubleshoot technical issues
• Provide hands-on support with web development and maintenance as needed
• Monitor and improve design to maximize leads and form fills on the website

Qualifications and Skills

• Portfolio showing modern web design work
• 3+ years experience as a WordPress developer
• Expert understanding of WordPress themes and plugins and Elementor
• Passion for and expertise in UI and visual design for the web (desktop and mobile)
• Ability to structure page layouts and understanding of frontend UX standards
• Outstanding visual design, color, layout, and typography skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail is a MUST

Bonus Skills

• Experience with graphic design, illustration, logo and icon design, branding, print design
• Experience with analytics, A/B testing, and other measurement and reporting tools
• SEO

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
