Part Time Working Student (Production Planning Engineer)

For our Production Planning & Operations organization, we are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and team-oriented Working Student. This position offers a part-time opportunity during the academic year. It is ideal for candidates who want to develop their skills in production planning, capacity management, and process optimization while gaining experience in a leading industrial company.This role is designed to support efficient, balanced, and sustainable production processes by improving planning accuracy and optimizing resource utilization.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Support production planning processes (preparation and follow-up of daily/weekly production plans)
• Perform SAP checks and validations for production orders, stock levels, and material data
• Contribute to capacity planning and workload balancing analyses
• Support Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes
• Analyze production flows to identify bottlenecks and propose improvement actions
• Perform loss/waste analysis and suggest efficiency improvements
• Document process flows and identify optimization opportunities
• Prepare production planning reports using Excel,Microsoft tools or similar tools
• Contribute to data analysis using basic SQL queries

You’ll win us over by:

• 3rd year university student in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or related fields)
• Availability to work at least 2-3 days per week (Gebze office)
• Interest in production planning, MRP, and supply chain processes
• Basic knowledge of LEAN principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret data
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, results-oriented environment
• Eagerness to learn and take on new responsibilities
