PART TIME YARD TECHNICIAN

A Maintenance Yard Technician is responsible for organizing, cleaning, and maintaining a company's equipment yard, including cleaning, inspecting. They ensure a safe, debris-free environment, and document inventory, often serving as a key role in equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance (oil checks, cleaning), ensuring they are functional for use.

Yard Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment free of debris.

Logistics & Documentation: document incoming/outgoing equipment.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, including hazardous material handling and proper storage of tools.

Typical Requirements:

Skills: Basic mechanical skills, knowledge of hand/power tools, and ability to operate heavy equipment (e.g., forklifts).

Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy objects, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and stand for long periods.

Experience: Often entry-level, but 1-2 years of experience in construction or general maintenance is preferred
