Part-Time Youth Instructor

Unity Active is a trusted enrichment provider known for smooth operations, reliable staffing, and high‑quality programs that fit naturally into a school’s weekly schedule. We make after‑school programming simple for schools and meaningful for families.We are hiring Youth Instructors to lead one or more of the following programs:

Soccer, Basketball, Tennis, Yoga, Robotics, Dance, Music, Public Speaking, Art, Chess

About the Role

Our Instructors deliver fun, structured, and engaging classes directly at our partner schools. This role is perfect for energetic, reliable leaders who enjoy working with children and can create a positive, emotionally safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead 30–60 minute enrichment classes for students ages 3–11
• Create a warm, encouraging environment where every child feels included
• Follow Unity Active lesson plans and safety guidelines
• Manage class behavior with clarity, kindness, and confidence
• Communicate with school staff and parents in a professional, friendly manner
• Arrive on time with all required equipment (provided by Unity Active)
• Maintain accurate attendance and incident reporting when needed

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (teaching, coaching, camp, tutoring, childcare, etc.)
• Strong communication and classroom‑management skills
• Reliable transportation to school sites
• Ability to lead high‑energy activities and keep students engaged
• Professionalism, punctuality, and a positive attitude
• Background check required
• CPR/First Aid certification

• Weekday afternoons (typically 10-11 AM and 3-4 PM)

• Must have consistent availability on mornings or afternoons.
