Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Assist customers with product selection, answer questions, and offer personalized recommendations to boost sale.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and receipts
• Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts
• Manage inventory by organizing stock, replenishing shelves, and ensuring products are well-presented
• Uphold excellent phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors and assist with inquiries promptly

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customers effectively
• Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, cash handling, and basic math for transactions
• Experience in grocery stores or retail environments is advantageous
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and merchandising
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
• Supervising experience is a bonus for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team
