Part Time/Full Time Server

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Your main responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Duties
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus to customers and answer any questions they may have
- Take accurate food and drink orders from customers
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of meals
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a prompt and efficient manner
- Check on customers throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Clear tables and clean dining area after customers have finished their meals
- Handle cash and process payments accurately using the POS system
- Collaborate with other staff members to provide exceptional customer service
- Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests

Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Food preparation: Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and ability to handle food safely.
- Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Restaurant experience: Previous experience working in a restaurant setting is preferred.
- Kitchen knowledge: Familiarity with kitchen operations and ability to work closely with kitchen staff.
- Customer service: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Basic math: Proficiency in basic math calculations for handling payments and making change.
- Food safety: Knowledge of proper food handling procedures to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination.
- POS system: Experience using a point-of-sale (POS) system for order processing and payment transactions.
