Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement strategic plans for the corporate practice group; Provide visionary leadership to guide the firm's corporate practice to new heights; Collaborate with other practice group heads to drive overall firm success.
- Client Development and Relationship Management: Utilize your strong Book of Business to cultivate and expand client relationships; Identify new business opportunities and strategically target potential clients; Ensure exceptional client service and satisfaction; Oversee complex corporate transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate matters; Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on a wide range of corporate issues; Stay updated on UAE corporate laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of corporate lawyers and associates; Foster a collaborative and growth oriented work environment; Provide guidance and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Revenue Generation: Meet or exceed revenue targets by leveraging your Book of Business and expanding the client base; Identify cross selling opportunities within the firm's various practice areas.
- Client Advocacy: Represent clients in negotiations, meetings, and legal proceedings; Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for clients' best interests.
- Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all corporate transactions and activities adhere to legal and ethical standards; Uphold the highest levels of professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in law; Master's degree or LLM preferred.
- Minimum of 8 10 years of experience in corporate law, with a strong Book of Business.
- Proven track record of successfully leading corporate transactions and teams.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Strong business acumen and a client focused mindset.
