Hamster Garage is a partner management agency based out of Chicago. Our expertise spans the partnerships and affiliates channel, encompassing affiliate marketing, brand partnerships, podcasts, influencer marketing, and more. We work with leading brands that are in a high-growth phase, like Tesla, Slack, Uber, Xero, and Masterclass. HG is a newer (established mid-2019), lean, and growth-minded agency working with innovative brands to meet their acquisition needs. Faced with an increasingly global client base, we are looking to expand our footprint globally as we look to expand our coverage and business model.
We are looking to hire a Partnership Marketing Analyst. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree from a Tier-1 university and the ability to work well in a team environment. This role requires working at our Lahore Daftarkhwan Downtown office during Central Time working hours (7 p.m. to 4 a.m. Pakistan Standard Time). This is an exciting and high-growth opportunity to help build leading affiliate and partner programs for all types of brands. Apart from receiving a highly competitive salary (USD), the Analyst will have exposure to the US work environment and clientele as well as many different aspects of partnership marketing.
Responsibilities include:
Recruitment: Identifying, evaluating, and sourcing new partners for specific brands based on their target audiences. The candidate will use HG's set of tools and best practices within the direction and parameters set by the team, as defined by the strategy of Account Directors and Managers.
Reporting: Performing reporting activities twice a week (e.g., updating HG trackers, and any other ad hoc reports that are already structured and created, and just need to be maintained)
Scheduling Meetings and Calls: Setting up meetings with partners and clients, and making any necessary updates to invite as needed.
Note-Taking: Taking notes and proactively calling out action items from meetings.
Compliance: Performing trademark Bidding audits, Coupon Audits
Competitive Analysis: Running competitive analysis for client programs.
Qualifications:
Past work experience: 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in a client-facing capacity.
Education: Minimum bachelor's from a tier-1 university
Client-Facing: Be able to establish and build strong relationships with key publisher affiliates and networks around the world – scaling the publisher while driving continued innovation through the channel.
English Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
Organized: You should be in the top 1% in terms of your client-facing skills in a professional work environment. There will be a great deal of coordination through email and calls, so it is imperative to represent HG in the most professional manner possible. You should dress appropriately for the company culture.
Familiarity with Common Platforms: Comfortable with Google Spreadsheets and Microsoft Excel. We work with a lot of data and need to be able to extrapolate and summarize data to optimize and make decisions to present to our clients.
Numbers-Driven: KPI-driven and results-oriented to drive innovation.
Understand the Importance of Design and Presentation: Ideally, some experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Canva. There will be many instances that require presenting our work to clients, which will require creating decks as client deliverables. The candidate should have a basic sense of good design.
Quick Learner: The Candidate will need to be a quick learner. The ideal candidate will be able to provide creative and innovative solutions to address brands’ user acquisition needs.
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Resourcefulness: Resourcefulness is vital to this position. There will be many scenarios that require the Analyst to be able to research solutions independently for discussion purposes with the team.
Critical Thinking: It is absolutely essential to be a critical thinker in order to succeed in this role. This means you should be able to deal with setbacks, changes, and sometimes, a lack of information. How you deal with ambiguous situations will have a huge impact on whether you are fit for Hamster Garage.
