Partnerships Coordinator Overview:

Focused on corporate partner contracts, benefit fulfillment and communications, this integral position manages the corporate partner experience and keeps our team on track. You’ll enhance our participant experience through exceptional customer service, communication, and project management skills. This position will report directly to the Development Director and must exhibit a high level of professionalism, ability to work on multiple projects with ongoing and differing timelines, demonstrate high productivity, be detail-oriented, ability to maintain strong client relationships and have a passion for the industry.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Contracts and Proposals

  • Lead production of partner contracts, including creation, editing and final execution
  • Own contract management once contracts are fully executed
  • Act as primary point of contact for all partner benefit questions
  • Act as primary point of contact for all logistics questions on the execution of benefit fulfillment with both external and internal constituents
  • Opportunity to identify, cultivate, and close corporate partners
  • Ownership of travel partnerships and in-kind partnerships
  • Create and update prospective partner proposals and other support materials as needed

Partner Fulfillment

  • Manage and document partner entitlements and fulfillment throughout the length of each contract including content, digital assets and on-site execution
  • Create and distribute customized partner logistics documents by race for all confirmed partners
  • Manage partnership entry codes collaboratively with the Registration Manager
  • Work with partners to ensure maximum exposure and positive experience
  • Coordinate logistics for in-kind deliverables, working in collaboration with the Race Operations Team and other appropriate staff
  • Exceed partner expectations in terms of service, benefits and overall value

Project Management

  • Create and send event recaps and year-end partner reports
  • Manage renewal process with existing partners
  • Assist Accountant in verifying in-kind and cash income including tracking invoices and contacting partners when needed
  • Assist sales team with Health & Fitness Expo vendor sales and management
  • Pull reports as needed to support the Development Director
  • Coordinate meetings/calls with partners as needed for partner packet fulfillment

Events

  • Work collaboratively with Race Operations, Marketing, and Registration colleagues to optimize event experiences for participants, spectators, and partners
  • Act as the lead internal partner event logistics contact with Race Operations
  • Organize and lead the Family Activity Area at TCM Weekend’s Saturday Events
  • Provide significant event assistance at all TCM’s events throughout the year
  • Provide race day volunteer direction as it relates to partnership activations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in corporate partnerships, sponsorship sales, or account management
  • Direct sales experience with ability to prospect, build pipeline, close new business, and support sales processes including proposal development and contract execution
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships, deliver exceptional partner service, and work with high-profile clients displaying exemplary professionalism
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong project management, verbal, written, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Provide creativity and innovation with passion for playing an important supportive role in aligning compelling partnership opportunities with exceptional participant event and program experiences
  • Outgoing personality with strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to regularly lift weights for events up to 25 lbs. and occasionally weights up to 40 lbs.
  • Commitment to support all TCM’s calendar of events
  • Commitment to being trained as a knowledgeable and approachable TCM Ambassador at events, in the community, and through requested outreach, with ability to attend evening and weekend meetings and events and travel in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area

Status: Full-Time, non-exempt, hybrid work environment with mandatory in-office days/weeks

Salary Range: $47,000 - $52,000 per year
