About the Role

We're looking for a Partnerships Lead to grow Fondu's client portfolio. You'll help shape the strategic direction for how we expand our client base while owning the prospecting pipeline end-to-end.

This is a highly external, relationship-driven role. If you're energized by meeting people and turning relationships into real outcomes, you'll have a direct and meaningful impact on company growth.

This is a 3-month pilot contract with the intention to evolve into a full time role, based on fit. You'll report directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain targeted lead lists of prospective clients
  • Research and attend key networking and industry events in the NY/NJ area (approx. 3-5 per month)
  • Craft and execute outreach messaging across relevant channels
  • Log all sales activity and communications in the CRM
  • Follow up with leads in a timely and professional manner
  • Build proposals, decks, and supporting materials for qualified prospects
  • Shadow and eventually lead prospect calls

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or account management within a marketing, agency, or creative environment
  • Foundational understanding of the creative production process
  • Exceptional ability to run prospect calls and deliver compelling sales pitches
  • Technologically savvy with a strong proficiency in CRM Management, Google Suite and Canva (or similar tools). Experience with Monday and AI tools such as Claude is a plus
  • Highly organized, with hands-on experience using CRMs to manage prospect pipeline
  • A self-starter who's equally excited about building partnership workflows and owning them day-to-day
