Job Title: Partnerships, Sponsorships & Monetization Innovation Manager
Department: Sales & Revenue/Development
Reports to: Misty Tompoles, CEO
Position Type: Full Time, Exempt
Annual Salary: $68,000/yearly + performance-based bonuses

Schedule: Monday - Friday Paid bi-weekly.

We produce premium print and digital magazines, integrated campaigns, and sponsorships for luxury and lifestyle advertisers.

Position Summary
The Partnerships, Sponsorships & Monetization Innovation Manager is responsible for building and managing strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and innovative revenue programs across the En Face Ballet Collection network. This role blends creative sales, relationship management, and partnership development with a deep understanding of En Face’s editorial voice, seasonal products, and audience.

The role involves creating multi-market offerings, seasonal sponsorships (especially Nutcracker), editorial integrations, and new innovative programs. The manager will partner with clients to understand their full portfolio of offerings and identify opportunities to collaborate and grow engagement.

Key Responsibilities
1. Sponsorship Sales & Partnership Development
  • Build, package, and sell En Face’s sponsorship portfolio, including Nutcracker sponsorships, season-long advertising programs, custom multi-market partnerships, and specialty initiatives.
  • Develop integrated, cross-channel partnership opportunities with luxury, lifestyle, family, tourism, retail, hospitality, education, and philanthropic brands.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through pitch development, proposals, negotiation, and close.
  • Collaborate closely with creative and editorial teams to ensure sponsorship activations align with En Face brand voice and audience expectations.

2. Editorial & Advertiser Integrations
  • Sell editorial-based products, including Meet the Dancer features, Lift Notes, Favorite Things, Partner Profiles, and expanded editorial opportunities across print and digital platforms.
  • Guide advertisers through the editorial process while maintaining the integrity and standards of the En Face brand.
  • Partner with production and editorial teams to ensure timely delivery and a seamless advertiser experience.

3. Innovation Programs
  • Lead the development, packaging, and sale of En Face innovation programs.
  • Test, refine, and iterate on new ideas in collaboration with marketing and leadership.
  • Track performance and gather feedback to improve future offerings.

4. Trade & Strategic Partnerships
  • Secure and manage trade agreements with hotels, boutiques, restaurants, galleries, and service-based partners.
  • Ensure trade agreements are properly tracked, fulfilled, and accurately represented in magazine placements.
  • Build long-term partner relationships that support En Face activations, events, and collaborative initiatives.

5. Seasonal Engagement & Support
  • Play a key role during Nutcracker season and other major campaigns.
  • Support Account Executives on multi-market deals, sponsorship fulfillment, and engagement timelines.
  • Assist with pacing, deadline tracking, and coordination across markets.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with:
    • Account Executives (regional and national accounts)
    • SDR (pipeline development)
    • Marketing (campaign alignment)
    • Editorial & Production (content execution)
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings, marketing syncs, and forecasting reviews.

7. CRM Management & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date deal tracking in HubSpot, including notes, follow-ups, and deal stages.
  • Provide leadership with visibility into pipeline health.
  • Update sponsorship, editorial, and innovation reporting dashboards.

Compensation & Bonuses
Base Salary: $68,000/year
Commission: 2% on contracts over $45,000
Bonuses:
  • Annual performance bonus
  • Seasonal innovation product bonuses (if applicable)

Qualifications & Skills
  • 3–6 years of experience in sales, partnerships, sponsorship development, or account management.
  • Media, publishing, or performing arts experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to build and manage long-term client relationships.
  • Comfort selling creative, conceptual, and integrated programs.
  • Strong understanding of brand alignment and editorial integrity.
  • High proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in a growth-stage organization.
