Parts Advisor

A Parts Advisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth flow of parts-related activities, contributing to overall customer satisfaction and efficient vehicle servicing.

Key responsibilities include:

· Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with their parts inquiries, orders, and concerns.

· Utilize product knowledge to accurately identify and locate the required automotive parts.

· Process parts orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to meet customer and internal service needs.

· Maintain an organized and well-managed parts inventory, including restocking and conducting regular stock checks.

· Work closely with service technicians and other departments to understand parts requirements for vehicle repairs and maintenance.

· Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the availability of parts and negotiate favorable terms.

· Provide technical support and advice to customers and internal staff regarding parts selection and compatibility.

· Maintain accurate records of parts transactions, orders, and inventory levels.

· Collaborate with the sales team to assist in selling parts and accessories, providing product information and pricing details.

· Educate customers on the proper use, maintenance, and care of purchased parts.

· Address and resolve any issues related to incorrect orders, damaged parts, or customer concerns.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training is a plus.

· Previous experience in automotive parts or a related field is advantageous.

· Strong customer service and communication skills.

· Proficiency in using parts cataloging and inventory management software.

· Knowledge of automotive systems and parts.

· Organizational and multitasking abilities.

· Detail-oriented and accurate in processing orders and maintaining records.
