Job Overview:We are seeking a highly organized and knowledgeable individual to join our team as an Automotive Workshop Spare Parts Advisor. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our automotive workshop by efficiently managing spare parts inventory, assisting technicians with part identification, and ensuring timely availability of required components. This position requires a strong understanding of automotive systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with both workshop staff and customers.

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of automotive spare parts.
Conduct regular stock checks, anticipate demand, and reorder parts as necessary.
Implement efficient storage and retrieval systems to optimize inventory space.

Part Identification and Recommendation:Assist workshop technicians in identifying the correct spare parts required for repairs or maintenance.
Provide recommendations for alternative parts when necessary, taking into consideration cost and availability.

Customer Service:Interact with customers to understand their automotive needs and provide accurate information on spare part availability, pricing, and delivery times.
Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and a customer-centric approach.

Supplier Coordination:Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to facilitate smooth transactions and resolve any issues promptly.

Documentation:Keep detailed records of spare parts transactions, including receipts, invoices, and delivery notes.
Generate reports on inventory levels, sales, and any discrepancies for management review.

Technical Knowledge:Stay up-to-date with advancements in automotive technology and parts to provide informed advice to workshop staff and customers.

Team Collaboration:Work closely with the workshop manager, technicians, and other team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination of spare parts activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and spare parts.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic workshop environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
