Parts and Inventory Specialist (Bilingual)

<Job Overview>
We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual Parts and Inventory Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for managing, tracking, ordering, and organizing parts and equipment inventory to support the daily operations of a construction equipment rental business. This role ensures timely availability of parts, accurate inventory records, and efficient shop operations to minimize equipment downtime and maintain high service standards.

<Duties>

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts, materials, and equipment against purchase orders
• Order parts from vendors and suppliers based on demand, service needs, and inventory levels
• Research and source parts to ensure best pricing, availability, and compatibility
• Organize and maintain inventory in the shop and yard for easy access and accurate tracking
• Monitor inventory levels and proactively reorder parts to prevent shortages
• Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems and/or spreadsheets
• Pick, pack, and issue parts to service technicians and other departments
• Conduct routine cycle counts and full inventory audits
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding orders, returns, and discrepancies
• Label, tag, and track parts and equipment properly
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
• Support mechanics and technicians by locating and delivering required parts quickly
• Identify obsolete or slow-moving inventory and recommend actions

<Qualifications>

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in inventory, parts ordering, or shop environment (construction or heavy equipment preferred)
• Familiarity with construction equipment parts is a plus
• Basic computer skills; experience with inventory software or ERP systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (typically up to 50 lbs)
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Pay: $22.50 - $27.50 per hour
