The Parts and Inventory Technician will maintain up-to-date knowledge and adequate stock of various machine parts and supplies needed to keep slot machines on the floor operational and in good physical condition. Request, receive and enter parts into electronic slot inventory system and audit parts inventory on a regular basis as set forth by Slots Management. Repair various slot parts such as bill validators, printers etc. and return to good stock as able. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
Essential Functions:
1. Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s “ELITE” company-wide service mission and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times.
2. Establish a thorough familiarity with all test equipment and the following support equipment: bill validators, ticket printers, currency counters, kiosk parts and assemblies and slot machine parts and assemblies.
3. Maintain an electronic slot inventory and request, receive, and enter parts into inventory.
4. Identify and assist standards for storing, labeling, and adding new parts to inventory as needed.
5. Perform regular audits of inventory as set forth by management.
6. Keep slot shop clean and all working areas safe. Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others
7. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of completed work.
8. Comply with all signatory requirements.
9. Comply with all slot department policies and provide constructive feedback to slot department management on necessary changes and improvements.
10. Maintain positive and effective working relationships with other Team Members, management, Guests and other departments.
11. Display awareness of all upcoming events and promotions. Demonstrate an understanding and awareness of the Player’s Card Program. Follow all Responsible Gaming Guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Two years of slots technical experience required.
2. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
3. Have basic knowledge of electronics.
4. Have working knowledge of the setup of all slot and video poker games and player tracking systems.
5. Ability to multi-task.
6. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and management in both written and verbal form.
7. Have basic math skills.
8. Have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Windows.
9. Have working knowledge of Title 31 requirements and internal control policies.
10. Must be at least 21 years of age.
11. Must be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.
Physical Requirements:
1. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
2. Ability to stand and walk for the duration of shift.
3. Ability to move up to 50 lbs. using a hand truck with or without assistance.
4. Ability to hear radio transmissions and communicate clearly on radio. Must be able to wear an earpiece with radio.
5. Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
