What We’re Looking For: Walstrom Marine is looking for a Parts Coordinator to join our Charlevoix Team!
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct inventory counts and cycle audits to ensure accuracy.
Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Implement processes to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
Manage stocking of supplies, including tools and office/cleaning materials.
Review work orders and place accurate, timely parts orders.
Track POs and maintain detailed records of parts received and pending orders.
Build and maintain relationships with vendors to negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
Communicate with technicians, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
Provide customers with estimates, handle inquiries, and resolve complaints.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe department environment.
Monitor department performance and identify areas for improvement.
Respond promptly to phone calls and emails professionally.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Completion of high school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of one or more postsecondary courses preferred.
- Proven experience in parts departments, inventory control, or related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer systems.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Schedule:- 8-hour shift
- Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm, Saturday availability required during summer months
