PARTS COUNTER SALES – COMMERCIAL TRUCK / FLEET

We are a family-owned commercial truck business (40+ years) — not corporate — specializing in Cummins, Isuzu, and Class 3–8 medium and heavy-duty truck parts, and we’re hiring a Parts Counter Salesperson. Same family. Same name. Same work ethic.

The Role

You’ll handle fleet accounts, repair shops, and technicians — quoting, sourcing, selling, and following through until the job is done.

This is B2B fleet work. Repeat customers. Real relationships. Not an order taker.

Who We’re Looking For / We want:

• Strong knowledgeable parts counterpeople
• Wholesale / fleet-focused reps
• High performers who know their trucks
• Experience in automotive, diesel, or truck parts sales preferred
• Background in fleet, commercial, or wholesale parts environments is a strong plus
• Experience with dealership parts counters, NAPA, AutoZone, O’Reilly, or similar
• Strong customer service and communication skills (phone + in-person)
• Comfortable using computers, email, and parts systems (CDK DMS preferred)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and follow through on orders
• Mechanical knowledge or background (technician, service advisor, or hands-on experience) is a plus
• Service advisor / service writer roles
• Diesel technicians, mechanics, or shop foremen
• Truck drivers or equipment operators familiar with parts
• Inventory, warehouse, or parts specialists

What You’ll Do

• Sell and source automotive, diesel, and truck parts for business fleet customers and repair shops
• Handle phone and counter sales (B2B parts sales)
• Build quotes and follow up to close business
• Use CDK DMS to track orders, backorders, returns, credits, and inventory
• Support technicians with parts requests and job flow
• Help manage stock, returns, cores, and vendor sourcing

Pay: $24.51 - $35.00 per hour
