Parts Delivery Driver - Automotive

NAPA of Somerset is currently seeking an energetic and reliable Parts Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering automotive parts promptly and safely to our customers, dealerships, and service centers. Your enthusiasm for excellent customer service, combined with your driving expertise, will ensure a smooth and efficient delivery process that keeps our operations running seamlessly.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver automotive parts across designated routes
• Load, unload, and organize parts using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques
• Verify delivery orders and ensure accuracy of shipments before departure
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with their deliveries and answering questions professionally
• Maintain delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection reports
• Follow all safety protocols during loading, transportation, and unloading processes
• Communicate effectively with the team regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues that arise

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably within an automotive or warehouse setting
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; motor vehicle record will be reviewed prior to hire
• Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills to optimize delivery efficiency
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and perform physical tasks related to moving parts safely
• Familiarity with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification is a plus)
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Ability to follow safety procedures diligently while handling heavy loads and operating vehicles
