Position Overview

The Parts Department Support role ensures timely availability and accurate tracking of parts and materials used in maintenance and production operations. This position supports technicians by managing inventory, staging parts, and maintaining organized parts storage.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, label, stock, and issue parts for production and maintenance equipment.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and audits.

  • Stage parts and kits for scheduled maintenance and repair work.

  • Communicate with technicians regarding parts availability and shortages.

  • Assist with purchase requests, vendor coordination, and returns as directed.

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the parts department.

  • Follow inventory control procedures and company policies.

  • Experience in parts, inventory, warehouse, or supply support preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Basic computer proficiency.

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing or shop environment.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This position requires regular work in industrial, shop, and outdoor environments. Employees may be exposed to harsh weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, wind, dust, and noise. Work may involve uneven terrain, heavy equipment, and physically demanding tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, and working around moving machinery. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times.
