Parts Driver - Illinois Territory Daytime

Hiller Ford is seeking a Full-Time Driver to deliver auto parts! Join us in fostering a positive, people-centered culture and a commitment to delivering great service! We will thoroughly teach and develop the appropriate applicant to become a productive team member; no prior automotive expertise is necessary.

You will operate a company vehicle to promptly deliver replacement parts, tools, equipment, and accessories to dealerships, body shops, and customers in the City of Chicago.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 6 a.m. - 4 p.m. No weekends!

Rate: $18/hour

RESPONSIBILITIES

• By delivering each part correctly, in a safe and timely manner, you show our customers that Service is the Difference!
• Picks up returns and parts from nearby dealerships or outside vendors
• Good store communications with customer service follow-up
• Lift merchandise up to 50 pounds with both hands for deliveries
• Organize the schedule of deliveries.
• Maintain the cleanliness and operability of the delivery truck.
• Perform safe pick-up and deliveries.
• Keep the parts department up-to-date on the delivery schedule.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prompt and courteous demeanor
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
• Ability to drive to Illinois
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
