Parts Expediter/Clerk

Job Summary:

Complete daily expeditor functions for the parts department or others, as designated by the Supervisor of Parts. Facilitate the pickup, and delivery of goods and supplies within the Anchorage Station, and surrounding areas. Ensure the accurate and timely movement of parts and supplies by focusing on the required communication and documentation for each expediter run. Assist parts staff as a parts clerk with functions such as material transfers, inventory maintenance, accuracy, and storage. Comply and assist with all regulatory requirements, operational safety, and housekeeping maintenance. This position is part of the Air Cargo Maintenance Team, supporting fleet safety and operational efficiency.


Compensation $23.00 p/hr.
Available Shifts M-F 8am-4:30pm

Job Duties

  • Expedite trips to internal and exterior vendors in ANC and the surrounding areas to pick up and deliver parts, tools, lumber and other items required to conduct business.
  • Ensure accurate count and content of all expediter movements as well as timely receipt and delivery. Double check all movements.
  • Assist clerks as required with shipping and receiving of serviceable and repairable parts.
  • Coordinate with vendors to schedule pickups and deliveries and address any changes to schedules and requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with internal Everts offices and locations to consolidate and ensure COMAT for daily shipments
  • Work closely with the parts room team and maintenance leadership ensuring that supplier communication and discrepancy management is up channeled.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic by consistently and punctually adhering to your established schedule.
  • This function will be provided with other duties and responsibilities as required to meet the needs of the Maintenance Department.

Required/Preferred Experience, Education & Skills

  • Proficiency in fundamental computer applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Google Docs is preferred.
  • A strong focus on detail is essential, as it plays a critical role in the department’s success.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, including proficiency/training in operating had trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts, along with skills in shelving and preparing boxes for shipment.
  • Requires the ability to understand, retain, and deliver information verbally and written.
  • Must possess a clean, and a Valid Driver’s License.
