Purpose of the Role:

To source, order, and manage the supply of automotive parts required for vehicle servicing and repairs. The role ensures availability of the right parts at the right time and cost while maintaining optimal stock levels to support smooth workshop operations and enhance customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities


Parts Sourcing & Procurement

  • Identify, evaluate, and procure quality automotive parts from approved suppliers.
  • Process purchase orders based on workshop job requirements and stock levels.
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to achieve cost efficiency.
  • Manage claims and replacements for incorrect, damaged, or delayed parts.


Inventory & Stock Management

  • Monitor stock levels and analyze consumption trends to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
  • Apply MOS, PMC, and Suggested Order Logic for accurate stock planning.
  • Collaborate with the parts store and workshop teams to ensure timely replenishment.


Vendor and Supplier Coordination

  • Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable and timely deliveries.
  • Resolve supply issues and follow up on outstanding orders.


Documentation & Compliance

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date procurement records, invoices, and supplier data.
  • Adhere to internal policies, ISO standards, Health & Safety requirements, and ethical code of conduct.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Parts Availability: Timely provision of required parts to support uninterrupted workshop operations.
  • Cost Efficiency: Achieving cost savings through effective negotiation and sourcing.
  • Order Accuracy: Minimizing errors in order placement and deliveries.
  • Supplier Performance: Maintaining reliable and responsive supplier relationships.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Ensuring proper recording and adherence to procedures.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Automotive Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in automotive parts procurement , preferably in multi-brand workshops (e.g., AutoTrust, Automall, AG Cars, Dynatrade, CarPro, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of parts sourcing, stock planning, and supplier management.
  • Hands-on knowledge of MOS, PMC, and Suggested Order Logic .
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP/DMS systems.
  • Good knowledge of automotive components and specifications.
