Job Title: Parts Purchaser

Location: Al Quoz Industrial 3, Dubai, UAE

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

The Parts Purchaser will be crucial in managing the inventory and sourcing for all projects. Duties include:

  • Sourcing & Procurement: Identifying, vetting, and establishing relationships with reliable local and international suppliers for automotive parts, accessories, and customization components (performance, cosmetic, luxury).
  • Order Management: Preparing and processing purchase orders (POs) based on workshop demand, inventory levels, and project specifications.
  • Negotiation: Negotiating pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve the best value while maintaining quality standards.
  • Inventory Control: Monitoring stock levels using the inventory management system, conducting regular cycle counts, and coordinating with the workshop manager to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
  • Logistics Coordination: Arranging and tracking the shipment of parts, managing customs clearance documentation for international orders, and resolving any delivery discrepancies.
  • Cost Management: Continuously seeking opportunities for cost reduction without compromising the quality or delivery timeline.
  • Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of all purchases, supplier contracts, warranties, and customs paperwork.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or parts management, ideally within the automotive parts, car modification, or high-end vehicle service industry.
  • Product Knowledge: Strong knowledge of automotive parts, understanding of different vehicle makes (European, Japanese, American), and familiarity with performance/aftermarket brands is highly advantageous.
  • System Proficiency: Competency in using inventory/ERP software and strong proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets for tracking and analysis.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate effectively and manage supplier relationships.
  • Logistics Familiarity: Knowledge of local and international shipping processes, incoterms, and UAE customs procedures.
  • Language: Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Personal Attributes: Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
