The position is responsible for transporting, delivering, and picking up parts, materials, and supplies efficiently while maintaining inventory and providing excellent customer service.

Transport parts and materials between suppliers, warehouses, and job sites.

Verify the accuracy of parts and materials being transported.

Maintain records of deliveries and pickups.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.

Assist in loading and unloading materials.

Communicate with team members to coordinate deliveries.

Fully understands how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle

Ensures contents are properly secured inside of the vehicle to prevent breakage or damage

Safely and efficiently handles and unloads goods at selected destinations

Obtains signatures when completing deliveries with clients

Assists in mapping delivery routes

Stays on a predetermined route and ensures timely deliveries

Communicates with dispatch/customers as needed in a professional manner

Performs inspections of delivery vehicle prior to and following each trip

Check weather conditions and road reports before departure

Always ensures delivery vehicle is kept clean
-
Reports vehicle service needs to dispatch (oil changes, tire rotations, repairs, etc.)

Maintains vehicles as needed (refuel, checks tire pressure, etc.)

Notifies managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered

Notifies managers of any down time and asks for additional assignments
-
Follows delivery schedule

Tracks and reports working hours

Adheres to company rules and regulations

Obeys all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions Makes safety a priority at all times

Maintains good attendance, is ontime and dependable

Performs other duties and responsibilities required by business conditions or as assigned by Management

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred

Valid Driver License required

Clean driving record with no moving violations

Must pass a background check and drug test

1 year of experience in a similar role preferred
